Wrapping window frames in anthracite: which surface suits you?
New anthracite windows usually have a woodgrain texture or a smooth surface. If the foil needs to match existing windows or a front door, compare texture and gloss directly on site.
Hold the sample against the frame in daylight – depending on the surface, anthracite looks lighter or darker.
White inside, anthracite outside
Many people wrap only the outside in anthracite and leave the inside white. With foil this is easy, because each side is covered separately.
Black instead of anthracite?

Wrapping window frames in anthracite in 4 steps
Clean
Make the frame free of dust, grease and silicone – ideally with the RENOLIT window frame cleaner.
Cut to size
Cut the foil at least 2 cm larger than each side of the profile.
Press on
Peel off the backing paper bit by bit and press the foil on with the felt squeegee, free of bubbles.
Trim the edges
Warm the edges slightly, fold them over and trim them flush.

Yes. The foil is applied directly to the cleaned white frame. A smooth surface is important; smooth out deep scratches beforehand.
Does the foil match an anthracite front door?
Yes, if the shade and surface match. Compare a sample directly against the door. For door leaves, the foil is also available 1000 mm wide.
How much foil do I need per window?
